Our heritage within this sector dates back to 2008 when we were selected to join the CAST consortium, formed of 12 specialist providers and brought together by Vauxhall Special Vehicles, to develop the police car of the future. Our monitoring time is based on the atomic clock, with data captured on a second-by-second basis, and speed/mileage information is taken direct from the CANbus. Event tracking can also provide detailed usage information of any vehicle-related activity – such as blue lights, sirens, water pumps, aerial ladders, medical equipment – and Driver ID show exactly who is driving at any time. This makes our telematics solution ideal for real-time asset tracking, credible evidence gathering and historical investigations.
