2. Connection to the Sure Antenna
After the Sure Antenna is mounted to the roof, obtain two SMB to FAKRA extension cables (ensure cables are of a suitable length to run from the antenna to the OBD port).
Connect the blue FAKRA to a GPS connection on the antenna harness (SMB to SMB).
Connect the purple FAKRA to an LTE connection on the antenna harness (SMB to SMB).
Insulate the antenna cables together in either conduit, Tesa tape or electrical tape.
Run the two-extension cables with your two FAKRA connectors at the end down to the front of the vehicle this should be done just above your curtain side airbag and then down the A pilar next to your OBD location on either the passenger side or the driver’s.
DO NOT LET THE ANTENNA CABLES INTERFERE WITH AN AIRBAGS ABILITY TO DEPOLY CORRECTLY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.

3. Connect to the RTU (Remote Telematics Unit)
Run the cable down towards the RTU and insert the FAKRA plugs into the corresponding-coloured plugs in the RTU. Push both connectors until they click. (You should not be able to pull out unless the button is depressed on the plug)

Secure all wiring from antenna to RTU using cables ties to ensure secure and there is no slack in the wiring to cause it to be an obstruction.
