1. About Airmax Remote

The Airmax Head Office is located in Birmingham. Our team of specialist technical support and development engineers has combined experience of over 200 years and is always on hand to support you.
Our collective core skill has the unique and proprietary method of communicating and interrogating a vehicles’ CANBus, as well as the engine management system, vehicle diagnostic and OEM protocols to transmit EOBD and specific vehicle data sets.
2. Getting Started
To log onto the Airmax Platform package follow this link: https://app.airmaxremote.com/login.php
By this point you will have already been provided with a ‘Username’ & ‘Password’.
Please enter the approved details in the following boxes and click ‘Log In’. Welcome. You have now entered the Airmax Platform.

The Home Page provides you will the following information:
- Real-time logistical data of your Vehicle Assets. ‘Map’ or ‘Satellite’ view.

Menu Options of:
- List Devices (Devices are listed with corresponding Registration Numbers;
- Incidents (Lists High-Level events);
- Events (Details diagnostic data in relation to the Device);
- Videos (Lists all High / Medium / Low Event Videos);
- Trips (Lists all Individual Vehicle Trip Data);
How do I check the real-time location of my vehicles?
- The home page below provides you with a location overview of all your vehicles.
- Three optional buttons allow you to view either ‘All’, ‘Online’ or ‘Offline’ vehicles.

By hovering over the individual icons, the device number, registration number and assigned depot information are displayed.

Using the ‘Show number plates’ button allows you to view the registration number and location of all your vehicle assets location in real time.

The ‘Show traffic’ button provides the user with real time traffic data in relation to the vehicle location.

By clicking your mouse on individual vehicle icons, more detailed information for that specific device is provided – i.e. last time the device connected/ camera voltage/ camera temperature.
How do I view a list of all ‘High Level’ triggered events?
By clicking on the Incident menu item, a full listing of all ‘High Level’ and ‘button press’ events are displayed in time/ date order. The default setting is the most recent event, but by clicking on the ‘Timestamp’ button, this can be reversed to the earliest in the listing. The listing of these events is stored for up to sixty days.

How do I view the video and telematics data for a specific ‘High Level’ triggered event?
Choose the required event and click with your mouse on either the device number or the timestamp. The specific incident screen displays the GPS mapping of where the video recording started and finished, the timestamp, g-force data, duration of the video, mileage and status of the video. The video is automatically viewed once you have clicked the ‘Download’ button.

3. Events
The events section of the Airmax Remote software is used as a diagnostic tool. The details displayed are codes sent by the device to the server providing a history of activity by the device.

4. Videos
How do I view a listing of all ‘High’ ‘Medium’ and ‘Low’ level triggered events?
When you have clicked on the Video section in the main menu, a full listing of all triggered events is displayed in date order. Again, this can be reversed as well by clicking on the ‘Start’ button. The type of event is listed with ‘High’ level events automatically downloaded to the system and the ability to upload the ‘Low & Medium’ level events as required.

5. Trips
How do I view a listing of all trips that are undertaken by a vehicle with a device installed?
By clicking on the Trips option, a full listing of all trips undertaken by each vehicle with a device installed is displayed. This details the start time, end time, duration and the mileage undertaken. Trip data is stored for sixty days.

By clicking on a specific trip, a GPS mapping is displayed with a ‘snailtrail’ detaining the start and end of the trip with the route taken. It also displays that start time, duration and the mileage completed. Video files of events that occurred during the trip are also displayed and downloaded or available to upload.

6. Maintenance
How can I review the performance of an installed device if in the unlikely event there may be a malfunction?
The maintenance section of the Airmax Remote Software contains diagnostic options that allows the User/Intelligent Telematics to remotely review the current status of a device:
- Connections Lost – Indicates that a device has lost its 3G connection;
- Offline – Indicates that a device has not communicate for more than 72hrs;
- Error Status – Indicates that a problem may have occurred with the SD card;
