The Emergency Fleet Exhibition and NAPFM Conference is always a highlight of the blue‑light calendar, but the 2026 event has proven to be particularly memorable for the Airmax Remote team. Following two productive days at The International Centre in Telford, we are incredibly pleased to announce that Airmax Remote has been honoured with two major industry accolades: NAPFM Best Service Provider and the NPCC Award for Improving Road Safety in Policing Operations.
Crucially, retaining the Best Service Provider title marks the second consecutive year that Airmax Remote has received this recognition, a milestone that reflects our team’s sustained commitment to supporting emergency fleets nationwide.
Voted by the industry: the NAPFM Best Service Provider Award
What makes the Best Service Provider award so meaningful to our team is that it is voted for entirely by the attending delegates, police fleet managers and invited procurement officers on the show floor. Every delegate receives an official voting slip upon arrival, evaluating exhibitors across the opening day of the conference against three core criteria set out by NAPFM:
- Technical & Sales Assistance: Assessing the professionalism, knowledge and availability of the staff on the stand. Historically, delegates use this category to score the overall quality of service a supplier provides throughout the entire year, making this consecutive win a direct reflection of our ongoing customer support.
- Quality of the Display: Evaluating the structural setup, engineering quality and visual appeal of the exhibition space. This year, our stand featured our interactive driver behaviour simulator alongside live demonstrations of our advanced remote vehicle diagnostics.
- Product Variety & Quality: Looking at the range, capability and performance of the software and hardware solutions on physical display, including our One‑Box telematics and integrated video capabilities.
Receiving the highest volume of votes from the managers who look after these critical fleets is the ultimate validation of our daily operations.
Evidence‑based safety: the NPCC Award
In addition to the visitor‑voted accolade, Airmax Remote was honoured to receive the NPCC Award for Improving Road Safety in Policing Operations.
This national award scheme, organised by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), is designed to recognise and promote excellence among emergency services supply chain companies. It highlights organisations that make outstanding investments to improve road safety for both police operations and the wider community, supporting national standards and fostering continuous operational improvement.
Our winning submission was heavily evidence‑based, supported by quantitative data and operational case studies. It focused on our close collaboration with Surrey Police and Sussex Police, demonstrating exactly how our telematics technology, data analytics and reporting structures are actively utilised to reduce road risk during frontline operations. By turning complex vehicle data into actionable insights, the collaboration has helped protect frontline officers, improve driver behaviour and enhance overall public safety.
