Norfolk and Suffolk have extended their contract for Telematics and Dashcam Services for an additional five years, covering over 900 front-line policing vehicles.
The partnership with Airmax began in 2018, with service deployment completed over three months in a complex operational environment, across two fixed locations, during shift changes, and within planned service schedules.
Telematics services continue to support Response and Public Order Policing, monitoring emergency warning equipment, driver profiling, and incident data recording. This comprehensive solution aids investigators and meets insurance requirements, resulting in a return on investment by reducing accident claims and vehicle repair costs.
The extended contract will also introduce additional functionality with a discreet card reader to digitise logbooks and record vehicle journeys to individual drivers.
